We are excited that you are interested in volunteering for the 2014 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship!  We are looking for great people to be ambassadors and support hospitality needs during the Championship Weekend.

Key volunteer information you should know before you register:

• AVAILABILITY:  Beginning Thursday, December 4 and running through Saturday, December 6, there are opportunities for all interested volunteers with multiple dates and shifts available.  Volunteer positions are available in the following areas: Hospitality, Transportation and Event Support.

• REQUIREMENTS : All volunteers will be required to register for at least two (2) shifts and one (1) training to complete their online registration.  Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and may be asked to lift up to 20 lbs.
• TRAINING:  Additionally, all volunteers will be required to attend one training session.  Training will take place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Monday, December 1 from 12-1pm (lunch will be provided) and 6-7pm (light refreshments will be provided).  Parking will be validated.  At the training, volunteers will receive information specific to their activity, transportation passes and other instruction.  You will be asked to sign up for your preferred training time to complete your registration.
• UNIFORM:  Volunteers will receive an official Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship volunteer jacket.  The jacket should be worn with well maintained black pants (no jeans or leggings), a white shirt and comfortable shoes.  Because many volunteers will be outside, winter wear (hats, scarves, gloves) are permitted.
• PARKING:  Parking will be validated for the training and airport volunteers.  All volunteers that will be in uptown will receive one (1) CATS day-pass that can be used for the bus or LYNX light rail.  The number of passes received depends on the total number of days each volunteer will be in uptown.  These passes will be given at the training.
• GAME TICKETS:  Please keep in mind volunteers will not receive complimentary tickets to the Championship Game.  
• NEW THIS YEAR * CHECK-IN PROCESS:  Each volunteer will have a specific location and coordinator to report to at the start of each shift.  All volunteers will receive their jacket when they check-in for their first shift.
